Graham Mirabito

Interim Chair

He has over 35 years’ experience in the information technology industry including 10 years in engineering and 25 years in sales, marketing, operations, mergers, acquisitions and general management. Graham has held senior roles at Telstra as MD Telstra Europe and EVP Telstra Asia. Graham’s previous role for 12 years was as CEO of RP Data which he took public on the ASX in 2006 and was acquired by strategic shareholder CoreLogic in 2011. His last executive role was as CEO CoreLogic international responsible for operations in Australia, Asia and UK. Graham is an Independent Board Director at Harcourts International (Real estate group), Auscred (online mortgage broker), Archistar (Property Generative Design).

Professor Vito Mollica, Macquarie University Business School

Interim CEO

Having co-developed Australia’s House Price Indices with CoreLogic and launching Australia’s first shared equity scheme, Vito is passionate about real estate, especially as it relates to providing better information and making housing more accessible Vito’s research centres on market design, having been Head of the Market Quality-Finance of the $32.3m Capital Markets CRC, and awarded multiple prizes including the Australian Council of Graduate Research Prize for Excellence in Promoting Industry Engagement in Graduate Research, Marie Curie Fellowship (Aarhus University, Denmark.

Professor Michael Aitken

Bid Strategist

Michael Aitken founded the Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) and served as its CEO and Chief Scientist for 19 years. He also played a major role in establishing both the Digital Health CRC and the Digital Finance CRC. He won the Prime Minister’s ICT Exporter of the Year award in 2010 for his work on the SMARTS Market Surveillance System, which was subsequently sold to the Nasdaq. His work on SMARTS also helped him win the Prime Minister’s Prize for Innovation in Science in 2016. He was admitted as a member of the Order of Australia in 2014. Michael holds an Honours degree and a Master of Accounting and Finance from Massey University in New Zealand and a PhD in security market design from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM) at the University of NSW (UNSW).

Helena Hurley

Research Coordinator

Helena is a strategic partnership and research program management professional. She holds a management position in the Research, Innovation and Enterprise portfolio at Macquarie University and has led the development and management of strategic relationships with global companies whilst working in Australia.
